After a setback with my injury from a car accident, a friend referred me to Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner Law Firm. Angelina was not my initial lawyer but was brought in about a year into the case. From the beginning, the recovery of expenses from the accident wasn’t the main foc us, it was looking at potential future expenses. Angelina was in contact via update calls and email every month or two. She took the time to fully answer questions and talk to me about next steps. At my in-person deposition, Angelina pulled me in early to walk through the process. She skillfully navigated the opposing lawyer’s questions. What I remember most however, was her asking for a break when I was getting uncomfortable, and letting me know everything was going well. My case took over 3 years to get to mediation and in that time, I began experiencing some of the medical issues that were possible with my accident injuries. I came to appreciate the depth of this firm’s “looking at the future” expertise. When we walked into mediation, the prepared negotiation plan was based on experience in these situations. With mediation seemingly not going well, I was impressed how diligent Angelina successfully pushed for a settlement. Finally, even when signing off on the case, Angelina pulled information and walked me through expenses if I had a question. I hope I never need a personal injury lawyer again but if I do, I would reach out to Angelina without hesitation.
