I was under a federal goverment investigation, which the result of a very complicated investigation with my former employer and Texas Department of Insurance. This went on for many years while being represented by attorney's that were provided by my former employer. I finally decided that things s eem to worsen and I needed someone that would listen, hear me and would fight for my defense and not the company that I was employed by. I immediately retained Mr. Clark. I felt if I had any chance of being cleared of this investigation and getting my life back, I needed Mr. Clark to defend me. Some years ago I retained this incredible attorney after I was arrested and was looking at a possible life time in prison. I won't go into too much detail in order to preserve my anonymity. I asked around for the "heaviest" attorney in Houston at this time, including other attorneys I had used in the past, and unanimously everyone said to call Mr. Dick DeGuerin. In short, only because of his fearsome courtroom prowess and renowned reputation for wins did the DA and Judge agree to a plea bargain we were all extremely pleased with. I will not use names, but BOTH the DA and Judge had reps for being extremely heavy handed with their sentencing. To the man that is more than an attorney, who's a legend and also a bit of magician, a thousand thanks for giving me a life to return to! I regret that I only happened upon this site today and wasn't able to publicize my appreciation long ago...
