I am a victim of domestic abuse and left my husband over a year ago. Kristin Rhame promised me a speedy divorce to a marriage with virtually no assets, except for custody and getting just my name off a mutual business. She took $5000 as payment and after a year nothing on my case has been done, and n ow she asks for $2500 more. She said she has already done $5000 worth of work and she hasn't even gotten my "ex"-husband to sign the divorce petition to acknowledge it. She does not give updates, send the proper documentation or respond in a prompt manner, and she allows her personal situations to override that of her clients on a regular basis. I have reported to her on several occasions of her neglect, and yet still nothing is done to help me on her end. She simply blames the judge or tells me of a personal matter that constantly keeps her from the case. I do not believe this person should be allowed to represent others in a legal capacity, nor do I believe she should be allowed to keep her licence if all she does is rob people of their hope, time and money. I will never recommend Kristin Rhame to anyone seeking legal advice.

It was four years ago, when I accompanied my parents into the office of Acosta Law. I remembered how helpless I felt holding the door for my dad who needed a cane to get around and my mom clutching a purse that enclosed everything but money. I reflected on the times during my childhood when I begge d my parents for the coolest shoes. The piano lessons that never paid off. The car I wrecked. The astronomical tuition for the college degree that I don't use. And here we were, filing for bankruptcy. My dad was a retired disabled army veteran. My mom is a Korean immigrant. They both came from poverty but by fate found each other and made life pretty comfortable for their three daughters. But raising kids and keeping them alive isn't cheap and in their golden years, they were buried in debt. I never knew how bad it was until the day my dad asked me to drive them to their chapter 13 filing. As I listened to my parents talk about their dwindled assets, I swore I fought tears that could have drowned a fish. But as their meeting ensued, I heard assuring claims and observed compassion and preservation of dignity. After filing, I noticed a change in my dad's spirit. I often overheard him making forward-looking plans to enjoy a debt-free retirement with my mom. They were so relieved to know that, soon, there wouldn't be much in their mailbox but local coupons and greeting cards from their kids - no more bills. Unfortunately, my dad passed away from Covid in August of 2021 leaving my mom to navigate the remainder of their bankruptcy case alone. But here's the point of this story. You can choose any bankruptcy attorney. Or you can choose Martin. You can gamble on a gimmicky lawyer with popular commercials. Or you can trust a humble family-oriented advocate for financial freedom. Throughout this experience, Martin was always available for questions. He was prompt in responses and thorough in explaining every step of the way. He never broke a promise and always treated my family with compassion and respect. In two months, my mom's bankruptcy case will be over and all her debts will be settled. I wish my dad was here to shake Martin's hand. Honorable people are hard to find. Thank you, Mr. Pack.

Martin Pack is an excellent attorney. He knows the law well and explains everything in detail for his clients. He answers any and all questions concerning the steps of filing a bankruptcy. Notice how the majority of the 5 reviews are from their initial consultation with Kreig. They all say similar things, "he was informative" "he was helpful" "he was nice" However, they do not confirm his diligence as a lawyer, hardly any reviews say they actually hired him. This is what I overlooked w hile I researched this lawyer, and now I regret it. After becoming a client, I have been ignored and gaslit repeatedly, please learn from my mistake

Kreig wastes your time and money and then leaves your case unresolved after months of procrastination, charging primarily for answering emails and phone calls, although there is very little time and effort for each. Then question him about his practice and he threatens to drop your case. Confront h im about his procrastinating practices of moving the case from one court to another only to move it back again and he blocked my email. Kreig comes off nice and sounds like he will do the job but in the end he is absolutely is not working for his ckient's best interest and solely for his own personal gains. Therefore, hiring Kreig is a rip off.

First, I paid a healthy retainer. Once paid, I was pawned off on an assistant who consistently told me she didn't have time for my case. Finally, when I complained, I was told to get lost. They still have not paid me back. Don't get ripped off like me.

I am a real estate agent and met Preston a few years ago when he was purchasing a home I was listing. I was struck then by his intellect and that he was clearly someone well ahead in his field. I have since referred him to others who’ve all raved about him. I had the opportunity to finally work with Preston directly when a complex title issue came up in a sale. The buyer agent had tried calling other attorneys who took days to call back, were half hearted and didn’t seem to understand the urgency of the situation. So when the decision on which attorney to use fell to my seller, he hired Preston. Preston got to work within minutes of that call and patiently and diligently untangled a difficult situation involving generations of family members, some of whom were estranged, deceased heirs and basically tracked down a homeless heir and got various docs signed remotely. It was miraculous that he accomplished this. Because he never skipped a beat, kept on top of the process, even working over the weekend, the title issue was resolved quickly and the sale stayed in tact. The buyer was days away from terminating so I’m certain had it not been for Preston’s diligence, that home would be back on the market. I cannot say enough how how impressed I was. Deirdre Carey Brown is one of the best attorney’s in the Houston area. Because attorney’s have different specialties I have had the misfortune of working with several other attorneys over the last few years.
