It's VERY hard to go after an HOA. Shawn McKee represents HOA's & protects them. But, he can also go after them! His law firm has a far reach. He did a superb job in helping me sue my HOA Management company & it's Board Members! It was a success. He helped make a case with the downtown courthou se on Caroline St., and then about a year later the old bard was removed. Then, I was able to become a Board member myself! I then helped nominate all new board members & hired a different management company. Shawn turned an outdated/ shadily governed HOA into a modern/ fair-governed HOA. I interviewed about 5 of the best real estate HOA attorneys before picking him. If you need an HOA attorney or if you need an attorney to go after an HOA.. Its been my experience that SHAWN MCKEE stresses out the other side so much that they lose in court or give in to his terms outside of court.

I utilized the services of Joseph Montalbano to recover damages from an automotive component supplier for violating terms of my purchase/warranty agreement with the supplier. Mr. Montalbano and I reviewed the chronological order of events leading to my claim and developed a path forward. A sett lement was agreed to by all parties within 3 weeks. Communications with Mr. Montalbalo was prompt and accurate. In the end I obtained more remuneration than was originally offered by the supplier due to the negotiation skills Mr. Montalbalo posses. I am confident the funds I received by utilizing Mr. Montalbano far exceeded which would have been acquired without the use of Mr. Montalbano. I had casually reviewed the case with other attorney's and they felt remuneration was unlikely. In the end I received $1000's of dollars in compensation due to the accurate interpretation of Texas deceptive trade business act by Mr. Montalbano.

I hired Mr. Medearis over six months ago. In September he said he would get a court date in early October. I haven't heard from him since, and no court date was ever made. He doesn't respond to phone calls or emails. I even sent a registered letter which he ignored. Due to time constraints within th e legal system, we will more than likely lose the property.

I hired Mr. Medearis to represent me in a dispute I had with a builder last year. We had some problems after moving into our new home and the builder was unwilling to address them. After sending a demand letter, the builder agreed to a mediation meeting and Mr. Medearis obtained a cash settlement tha t allowed us to hire another contractor to make the repairs. This was all accomplished with pretty reasonable attorney fees and we were happy with the outcome.
