Do NOT hire this guy if your employer is discriminating against you. I paid him 5k to represent me. After my payment cleared, he began communicating with me less. He then said in an email, that since I was going to lose, I should work out a separation agreement. Why would I pay this jerk 5k if I was going to lose? He dodged my calls the entire night after he sent that email. I had to demand my money back email. He made some slimey statement in an email reply about how he wasn't making much by representing me. I replied threatening to complain to the State Bar if he didn't return my money. He kept $200 saying that's they cost of using Am. Express. He never did return my calls. This was for me, a horrible experience I don't intend to repeat. Save your money and avoid this guy!!!

We retained Justin Strother to handle a complex dispute that we believed needed emergency relief from the Harris county courts. Having had the unfortunate personal experience of other prior litigation in both family and civil court elsewhere, I have painfully-acquired firsthand knowledge of how commo n it is to receive absolutely poor legal representation. I went to talk to Josh about my former employer and how I had been let go after 28 1/2 years and they kept the other admin instead of giving me options to stay. Josh explained my situation and he told me if I wanted to sue them I'd have to go back to Ohio where my job had been. Suing them wasn't the only option he gave me and he chose to talk to them on my behalf instead and it worked. I wasn't looking to get rich just wanted my severance pay paid as a lump sum rather than over the course of 3 to 4 months which would have messed up my unemployment, and within a matter of weeks the issue was resolved and I was extremely happy. I would recommend Josh to anyone looking to intercede on their behalf with a current or former employer. Everything was handled the way I would have wanted. I was paid a lump sum for my severance but I did ask him to have them pay his fees because he was entitle to those and so much more. Love this guy.
