CANNOT say enough great compliments about Mrs Crump. I had a very contentious child custody case that lasted over 11 years and just when I was at my wits end I was introduced to her. Grace was able to deliver on the plan that we put together while keeping my expectations grounded and explaining all o f the potential pitfalls and obstacles we were going to face. She also was forced to deal with one of the most dishonest & unprofessional lawyers I have come across on opposing counsel. Most attorneys I spoke with were not willing to go up against this lawyer, but Grace was. She was able to handle herself professionally and calmly and her courtroom presence is impressive. She is responsive, proactive when she needs to be, as well as reactive to the important items that needed to be addressed. Against all odds and with my back up against the wall, Grace was able to fight on my behalf and that of my children. Family case and I was not happy with the results. I think I could of gotten better results with another lawyer. Caso familiar y no quedé contento con los resultados. Creo que podría haber obtenido mejores resultados con otro abogado. There were times when I needed to contact and I get no response. It was hard to get her to respond to my calls or emails. Lawyers should keep their clients updated on the status of the case not very last minute where she reminds the last day on which the case is. We were pretty disappointed in the results and wanted to go to trial.

I have contacted them several times about my case only to find out the attorney on my case was gone. There was no proper introduction on apparently a new attorney because they are billing me for correspondence I never received. I deserve to be contacted.

My experience here started the same way it ended. When a lawyer has too many responsibilities that are not aligned with your assistants capabilities to perform in timely manners u have on your team. I was disappointed with the lack of communication lack of evidence and I n WC case my lawyer close my case without my knowledge never got a permanent disability or impairment rating never followed up with my medicals. I'm looking for a lawyer to sue a lawyer.

I hired Mak through a recommendation from a colleague at work and I was a bit apprehensive since I had never hired a lawyer before, but upon talking to Mak on the phone while I was in Boston I was pleasantly surprised by his willingness to provide a free consultation as well as give me accurate and " real" cost numbers that would accompany my case. I decided to hire Mak to help me with my case regarding the custody of my unborn daughter. He made things easy. In a situation that I have never experienced, I wanted to be sure that I had the right legal support and I truly believe that I found that in Mak. What he did to make things easy for me: 1. He listened! (Some people don't) 2. He provided thorough explanations for each of my questions. 3. He initiated the appropriate contact with the other party's lawyer and kept things moving as smoothly as possible. 4. He was quick to respond as he keeps a small caseload to provide individualized support. 5. He was HUMAN. Which is odd to state but I feel that I could just talk to MAK and he would sometimes provide the humor and playfulness that made the situation less dark and dreary. 6. He got the job done! We reached a mediated settled agreement and the custody agreement was drafted. I enjoyed working with Mak and I would recommend him to others in Famly Law matters.

Gave this man everything he needed to win my child custody case and he was no help. Lazy is the best word to describe him... In court he was quiet and scared to fight for me... My ex is a violent sex offender that had NO attorney and represented herself in court and she wiped the floor with Mike. It was sad... I'm in the process of sueing him once I get my ducks in a row.. if you hire him it's on you.

I had a complicated divorce that included a special needs child turning 18 during the divorce. Hence, there was a separate guardianship action taking place while the divorce was pending. The divorce caught me off guard, I was abruptly kicked out of my house after the temp orders hearing and my wife w ho has a history of substance abuse and a long history of mental health issues was allowed to stay. She also had previously left the family and has had two stints in detox clinics. I believe the results of the temp orders hearing was the because the petitioners side spent a lot of time preparing and they stated a bunch of unsubstantiated half truths that were not fully rebuttalled and addressed. I felt I had to defend myself during the hearing because my lawyer was unprepared and just winging it. My divorce cas was in a quagmire and not progressing at all. I originally hired Kathyrn to help me with the guardianship issues. When I saw how fast Kathyrn acted on the guardianship and found out she handles family law also, I decided to consolidate and have her represent me for both cases. She tackled the divorce case and kept me focused on what is important to close it out. It feels like a ton of bricks have been lifted from my shoulders. I highly recomend Kathyrn.

Attorney Robert Hoffman is hands down THE BEST family law attorney in Houston. I went through two other attorneys who completely destroyed my case with their absolute incompetence, ignorance and unethical practice. Unfortunately, when I found attorney Hoffman the damage had already been done neverthe less he fought with his heart and soul and his unmatching competence and skills. I am 100% positive that if I had known and retained attorney Hoffman instead of the other two incompetent attorneys, I would have not lost my case. He is THE EXPERT IN PARENTAL ALIENATION. If you are an alienated parent do not consider any other attorney in Houston. Attorney Hoffman is the only one who knows what he is doing in these very complicated cases. If you can believe it, because I was so broke by the time I hired him as my third attorney, he was charging me a third of his regular rate. Have you ever seen an attorney do that for you? He is a genuine, honorable human being who feels your pain and with pure honesty and integrity would make every effort to win your case for you. I highly recommend attorney Robert Hoffman and wish someone had recommended him to me 16 months ago.

Mr. Hoffman did an excellent job representing me in a very tough case. He is strategic in his approach and does a great job of quickly understanding your case. His work shines during depositions as the opposing side does not see what is coming as he artfully deposes your x spouse. If your case is going to trial, he is one of the best trial attorneys in Houston. He was not my first divorce attorney, but he will be my last one to hire. The opposing counsel was Bobby Newman and he did a fantastic job against Mr. Newman. He will always give you an honest assessment of your case and operates with integrity.

I have used Mr. Spofford on two cases with the present one being a custody issue. Mr Spofford has handled my case with complete professionalism, integrity and compassion. I hired Mr. Spofford for a custody modification. Soon after a terribly messy divorce I discovered my son was in a chaotic household and I had to make sure he was safe. It took a lot of time and money, but was worth it in the end. Chris was patient, on point and trustworthy. Depositions seemed stress ful and chaotic to me but Chris was calm, patient and methodical. Mr. Spofford was able to obtain HPD body cam footage that turned out to be extremely helpful to my case. Chris and Jennifer always responded to calls and emails in a timely fashion, along with making sure I was informed and I understood all aspects of the process.
