I hired Keith on my Aggravated Robbery Charge. & I have a lot to say. I was told I was going to have to give him a certain amount to retain him , them I’ll have to pay more if the case makes it to trial. I was incarcerated when I hired him , his communication skills is very off , hard to get him to c ome talk to me in person after After I paid him. He kept telling me anything I want to talk to him about can be talked about on the phone, but remind you I’m incarcerated so the calls are recorded I did not feel comfortable talking so I begged him to come talk to me in person he would not come , I needed my discovery & had to tell him a lot about the case. My first court appearance he was there (late) & first thing he said was I’m going to get you out of here on probation. all he was trying to get me to do was to take a plea deal. I kept explaining to him I’m innocent & will he admit to something he didn’t do. I was trying to tell him a lot about the case but he would not come see me & talk to me while I was in jail. So then we came to the conclusion. I’m not taking any deals & he Off rip said he’ll set it for trial. I new the case wouldn’t make it to trail , but he told me he needed more money because it’s going to have to go to trial. So I’ll have to pay him more money if I want him to keep representing me. It was that moment I knew I had to post my bond , because I feel very embarrassed & had a very good feeling that the case wouldn’t make it to trial. So It took for me to pay my bail & get out to see him face to face to have the proper communication. Next court appearance I was offered 12 years which I Denied & got a reset court date. So finally, I get in a room to talk to him and tell him how I feel & gave him the best advice I can give him , witnesses & facts of the case that can get it tossed out without going to trail. I was still threaten to have him we have withdrawn from case or I’ll have to pay the amount he wanted me to pay for trial date. Of coursed I paid him. He took the advice I gave him along with working & meeting with others , found out I was set up & got the case dismissed with making it to trail. If I never got out, paid my bail to tell him how I feel (he wasn’t representing me right) I DON’t believe I’ll be free right now. Communication was very off. Once case was dismissed Houston Police Had Property Of Mine & I was told I would have had to get a property release form from my attorney. He wanted an additional 1k he says I owe him but remind you THE CASE DIDNT MAKE IT TO TRAIL. He Waited Two Weeks Then Got The property release. YES HE DID GET MY CASE DISMISSED AGGRAVATED ROBBERY. But That’s What I Had To Go Through.

Mr. Farias was court appointed for my case, and looking back, I wish I'd had a lawyer to appeal this decision on time. I had never been through something so traumatic and am only posting in hopes of preventing this from happening to another mother. Read all his reviews FIRST! If you are a dad trying to get custody I believe he will be a great choice, but if you are a mother (regardless of the dad having no grounds to challenge custody) get as far away from this attorney as possible. Looking back now, i never had a chance. He showed up hours late, and in gym clothes, to our home visit and if you know how nerve wrecking it is to know someone will come judge your every move, this is inconsiderate. He took my kids to walk around the neighborhood without an another adult present and asked irrelevant Qs such as how much I like their step-mom. Whether I like her or not, doesn't affect what is best for my children. During mediation, he asked how many men I had slept with! (Their dad had tried to make me look like a woman who sleeps around - even though I had never brought them around any guy). He took what my kids' dad stated as facts, and although I kept detailed records of dates and incidents he never even considered them - I would not be surprised if he never even looked. During our home visit he also insited I bet him, hand shake and all, that my pregnant sister would have a boy - this was wierd at the time but I thought I was just nervous. I didn't want to revisit this as it was very stressful time and my case has been closed for some time but something inside tells me to at least try to warn others. It's in God's hands now, and my kids dad is not the worst dad, so I had to accept the system as I simply could not afford a trial.

Retained Leo and firm as grandparents seeking custody of an infant grandchild. CPS was involved, rehabs were involved. Needless to say from our perspective it was a mess. Guy was very communicative with me the whole time. I had a relatively Misdeameanor case which because of a few priors the Harris County DA enhanced me to a 25 to 99 with a possible 5 year Federal Probation violation. We set it for trial after because they would not drop the case. Basically like a gam e of poker that Guy played and 3 weeks before trial they all of a sudden dismissed my case. After 18 months of hell it finally came to an end along with my Fed probation and Monday I will make 35 a totally free man after over 14 years. Mr. Womack helped me when I most needed it. I was facing allegations in which I was told that I needed to wait to be charged in order to have military representation. My son was asked by someone he thought was a friend to drive him somewhere. The friend picked up other friends that pulled a gun on my son and made him drive to commit a crime.
