I hired Tom Nixon as my attorney to handle a slip and fall case. Although it took longer than expected before my case was settled, I wound up with a much better settlement than I thought was possible. There was a lot more paperwork involved than I expected. I was told in the beginning that my case was not worth a lot of money, then suddenly, the business was offering to settle my case. It wasn't really explained to me why my case went from being worth very little to suddenly being worth more money. However, when it was over I was please with the settlement. I thought the mediator picked for the case could have been nicer, although he settled the case.

Incident involved a car crash and bodily injuries. He was honest and upfront about his expectations of the case. He said that the accident wouldn't make us rich, but that it would cover our medical and vehicle costs. He worked diligently with the insurance companies to make sure that they paid a fair amount for our loss. He kept us up to date with the progress of the case. He honestly seemed to care. The settlement was enough to handle all of the medical expenses, a new vehicle and a bit left over to cover some other debts. After interviewing 4 Attorneys, I hired Robert to handle my injury accident claim than was denied by All State after a year of rehab, because they claimed that it was not accident related. I followed everything All State required of me for one year, and I though I was in " Good Hands", but truthfully , they prey on honest folks who do not know that they are playing the percentages to low ball or deny settlements altogether. Robert took my case and quickly navigated the legal requirements to sue All State, and to my surprise they settled within two weeks for $25,000, (I was offered $500, yes only $500) After that, I was elated, but Robert checked my insurance policy and determined that I was covered for underinsured motorist claims and then sued my insurance because he said the injury was worth more than $25K. Four weeks later Robert negotiated another $35,000 settlement from 21st Century. Working with Robert was a pleasure, he always communicated and responded to my questions quickly, and was professional and ethical in all of our dealings. He did exactly what he promised and his fees were reasonable and easy to understand. I highly recommend Robert Rodriguez for any personal injury accident claim. (PS: call an attorney even before you talk to an insurance company if you have been hit or injured. Remember insurance companies have huge staffs of In house lawyers looking for ways not to pay claims, and you need to be represented by an attorney who understands your rights and how to deal with these companies)
