  • ★★★★Buckley Mathews law firm

David Wiles · legal ethics ·

    R. Bruce Buckley of the law firm Buckley Mathews White and Howell, now known as Buckley White Castaneda and Howell. Buckley Mathews (hereafter called BM) represented our Texas nonprofit 501C3 corporation in a venture with value in excess of $1.9 billion. Questioning Mathews ethics we ended our relati onship with that law firm later to learn Buckley conspired with Mathews and our former director (hereafter called FD) and another client of their law firm(hereafter called AC) to take control of this asset without our knowledge or permission . Buckley had presented an affidavit declaring his law firm prepared powers of attorney for that FD to AC that granted power to that AC to act on behalf of the FD in U.K. court on that asset. Buckley also admits to preparing a Compensation Agreement from the FD to the AC awarding AC 50% of all monies from the asset, which asset FD did not legally own. BM acquired ownership of 20% of the asset via a fee agreement from the FD at the time they took control of our asset. Buckley knew we owned this asset yet prepared documents that would deceive the courts into believing FD owned it. Buckley with Mathews withheld that specific file from us refusing to return it claiming FD was now his client, but there was no conflict waiver from us to BM to represent FD as promised us from BM and required by Texas. Buckley as required in Texas never informed us of his actions or the actions being taken involving our asset. Several attorneys have viewed this evidence and were outraged at the actions of Buckley, calling it theft. Litigation, Mediation, Settlement and Court Ruling in Texas and Federal court (see NO. 04-1004-RWZ) granted us the largest share. Money from the asset was taken by the conspirators outside the U.S., but not brought to the courts as agreed and ordered. As a result of their greed our projects to save children went unfunded. Many, Many children died due to the lack of aid this money would have provided.
