I started working with her and she placed me on a payment plan. Everything went as planned. She gave me directions on what I needed to do to get the case moving forward and I obeyed them to the exact specification. In less than 5 months I was divorced. There's really nothing negative I could possibly say about Angelica Landa. We went before the judge and everything was granted. It's difficult to believe the other reviews I see on here. I would recommend Cheryl Jeter in a heartbeat as a great divorce lawyer. She is very knowlegeable and worked very hard for me. She does not give you unrealistic expectations, she tells you the truth so you can make good decisions with her advice. She is a very good listener and she gives excellent legal advice. She doesn't try to extend things, she tries to work them out in mediation so you will not spend more money than you have to, but if it goes to court she's going to be fully prepared and able to represent you well. My case did end up in court and I felt very fortunate to have her represent me.

I have a long running relationship with this attorney, over 8 years. He as seen me though trouble times with possible divorce do to being marriage to a bipolar wife. He has answered may legal question I have had. His fees have been very reasonable, and he as not charged me for a lot of the on phone conversations. I would recommend this attorney.

Took on my case and gave me false confidence the whole time. Made a difficult situation worse by not doing what he said he would do when I hired him. Gave me terrible advice that got me held in contempt and then said he couldn’t represent me after that. This case was for custody of my daughter and he handled it with sloppy disregard. I wouldn’t hire him and recommend you don’t as well. Mind you I had to travel from out of state to deal with this matter to make it worse. Had to hire a new lawyer to clean up his mess. All he cares about is the all mighty dollar. If you want a disservice hire him.

I had a trying time with my alcoholic spouse. Several years ago I was in the process of a divorce with an attorney that was costing me a fortune and wasn’t getting any results. I hired MS. HIBLER after firing the first attorney. Within 60 days I was divorced and had received a fair settlement from my ex-wife. MS. HIBLER was the most effective attorney I have ever seen practice. Her retainer was much less than the first attorney (actually I received a refund when the case was completed. She knows the law, knows the courts and respects her client’s needs and desires. I hired Lashon in late 2014. she actually listened to what I had to say. My court date was fast approaching and I thought I was in a great deal of trouble. From the first consultation with Lashon she stood up for me with the opposing attorney and advised me to continue doing what I was doing and l eave the rest to her. I then received a summons to appear in court because my ex-spouse wanted me to give up total control. Well Lashon had something to say about that. When the court date came not only did Lashon get my ex-spouse to admit that the children had never missed an event that she had planned, the judge took about 5 seconds to deny opposing counsels motion. It took everything I had not to break out into tears in front of the judge. Then she took the time to talk me through the process after court and told me what to expect next. Went to John B. Henry, III for estate planning. Total waste of time! Took seven months for him to produce incomplete documents. Spent over $5,300 for stuff that I'm having to shred. Had to start over and go to a different attorney to get the job done properly. My new attorney completed the job and h ad all documents filed within two months. If you have time and money to waste then he's your man. Otherwise get your legal services elsewhere.
