Our 12-unit condo complex required some major repairs to our decks due in part to wind driven rain and poor construction. Upon suggestion from our architect and construction company that our issues are something insurance might actually cover, we filed a claim with our insurance company but it was of course denied. At this point our HOA met with Dan. He was very honest about the process, possible outcomes, costs, and clearly communicated what to expect if we wanted to secure his services. Throughout our meeting, Dan was not pushy at all. Looking back, our community is very happy we hired Dan. He kept us in the loop throughout the whole process and promptly responded to any questions we had. Dan knew our insurance policy inside and out and in the end he was able to convince our insurance company to cover our repairs. This was the best outcome we could have hoped for and avoided more costly and time consuming measures that Dan had also prepared us for.
