I hired Heather to handle the legal work for my documentary. In the consultation, she was very clear about expectations (what I'd need, what it would cost, and when she could get it done). She was very fast in her responses and generous in answering my questions. The work was affordable, but you woul dn't know that from the quality. On a tight budget, she handled the legal work and the documentary is now on PBS. I would highly recommend working with Heather if you are in the film industry and looking to dot your i's and cross your t's to have your film ready for distribution.

I needed to hire a US licensed attorney to extend the time to file a statement of use for my trademark for a non-profit organization. I had done a couple of extensions before myself as it is not a complex procedure. However, the new USPTO regulations did not allow me to do it myself as I do not live in the US. I contacted a few US attorneys, and all of them asked for a very high fee which was irrelevant to the task. Heather's fee was affordable and very reasonable considering the task. She was also very quick in responding and following up. I am very satisfied with her services.

Mike provided clear guidance and even-handed explanations as I navigated my first trademark filing. He listened well and took the time to understood the purpose of the service being trademarked, which I feel was reflected in the coverages we were ultimately received when the trademark was awarded. During the process, an inspector at the USPTO raised a minor issue. Mike understood the "why" of the concern, and handled it quickly.
