My husband and I were on a cruise in September, 2013. We slept in late that day which was the third day of the cruise. We were on the Lido deck for lunch and I stepped on something that was on the deck and I slipped and dislocated my right shoulder. I was in so much pain. I was out of work for 4 months. We were told to stay in our cabin, since I was on some strong medication. We got back to Raleigh, NC and were so disgusted about the way we were treated that we decided to get a lawyer. We called a lawyer here and he recommend Carol and the firm she worked for. I was so thankful that she decided to take our case. My Husband slipped and fell in a gas station ripping both of his rotor cuffs. Leesefield Partners were recommended to us by our attorney because they specifically deal with personal injury. Carol & her partner Lou were so wonderful and diligent. We did most correspondence through email which made th ings very easy. We knew that it would be a process to get payment because of course we had to go through all of the medical treatment before we knew what the final expense was so we always kept the lines of communication open. We ended up settling out of court with a very fair settlement that would pay our medical bills and our attorney fees and still leave us with a fair settlement. During the negotiations we were treated very well by all staff members. It was apparent that she was working hard on our behalf to resolve the issue without having to go into a long drawn out courtroom battle. After settling she negotiated the charges from the medical bills made sure that medical bills were paid on our behalf. All in all a very bad and painful experience was softened by the caring concern and due diligence of Carol Finklehoff , Lourdes Pino and Mr. Leesfield. We will be eternally grateful to them.
