James was my attorney as I filed divorce from my husband, having signed a prenup under duress. We have two minor children. James was able to strategize all the way, and knew every fact of my case, through the custody issues and also settled my case in a manner that protected me, as I had signed a pre nup (which would have been an uphill battle to overturn) and provided a very fair amount for me to re start my life. Most of all, he and his paralegal Honor really understood the complex emotional issues along the way and treated me with respect and dignity. The communication along the way was beyond excellent. He acted throughout with great honesty and integrity.

If you are going through the most difficult time in your life because of your divorce, James is the one you need. I had the most crazy divorce one could imagine with the other side lawyer being greedy, lying, unethical, spiteful and the worse you could imagine... well, that was her. Regardless of w hat she did James stayed true to his core values, provided the best guidance and advice one could. I believe James is absolutely unique and the best at what he does. James Stensel aptly assisted me with my divorce. He clearly explained the law and my rights and answered all of my questions along the way. He helped deal with an attorney on the other side that prepared sloppy documents that were full of mistakes regarding what we owned and what I was awarded. He cl eaned up that attorney’s mess and made sure that my final divorce documents were clear and concise. In addition to the task at hand, he also focused on ensuring that our agreements foreclosed on my ex-spouse’s ability to come back later and try to take more. James was a beacon in the storm. I hired James to represent me in my divorce. He helped me through some extremely rough times dealing with my wife who was out to try to bury me with her aggressive attorney. James was calm, rational, and organized and helped keep things reasonable and under control. H e often predicted what my wife’s attorney would do and was ready the push back every time. He stayed focused on resolving my case and did his best to keep the cost down whenever possible. He was also glad to explain everything to me along the way and he was always available to answer my questions (including weekends). I have the displeasure of dealing with legal conflict in my regular professional activities. In the case where David assisted me, it was most personal in nature related to my family situation. I can therefore say, that David is an outstanding and experienced Lawyer as well as wonderful Human being. These characteristics makes him look at cases holistically, which is an extremely rare strength in the legal profession. I have worked with more than ten attorneys and interviewed more than fifty. In his profile, Dave ta lks about putting in better work than the other guy, and he absolutely does.
